5. Feb	BA project	Kick-Off Lineproducing you will meet your Lineproducer and she will introduce you to the production pipeline and instruct you on how to cooperate with her.	Room 151, 10:00

14/15 or 20/21Feb	BA project	Acting reference shots: visiting actresses and actors will work with you on key shots of your film. They will be recorded for further use.	Room tba, all day

5. Mar	BA project	Sound design send a current animatic (compress it!) with your music layout and a description of your sound design concept to Thomas Gassmann and Christof Steinmann	E-mail them by midday
6. Mar	BA project	Mitarbeiterbörse / Helper's market get helpers on board by holding a presentation of your project for lower classes and alumni where you can tell them what you're looking for.	Room 151, 17:30 with apéro!

Mar	Exam	Examination criteria (practical work) Choose a subject from your project to be judged by in particular (for example set design, concept art, story, animation, character design, editing etc...) Mar	Mentors	Production Meeting 1: Before the greenlight for the foley session, and before the final Animatic Editing Session, Lineproducing and the Mentors watch the current state of Animatics and discuss how much length should be added/shortened during the Editing Session. 4. April	BA project	Milestone: Greenlight All projects present their most recent Animatic along with the current state of their Lineproducing. Jürgen Haas, Thomas Gassmann and Luana Derungs will evaluate if proceeding with foleys is realistic. If not, alternative steps will be recommended (in the most extreme cases, Foleys/Sound can be delayed until next year or transferred to an external producer).	Room 151, 9:00-13:00
23. April - 2. May	BA project	Foley recordings with Dieter Hebben. PICTURELOCK for Foleys 1 day before recording session date (will be communicated by Thomas Gassmann or ASO)	Sound Studio
29. April	Promo	Postcard files deadline Make a folder with your project's name (ASO sends server info) and upload a tiff-picture (min. 1900 x 1370 px). Please note that 3mm will be cut off on each side! Optionally you can also upload a small, square picture as postage-stamp placeholder. Also add the following information as an .rtf or .word file: Film title, length in minutes, names of directors, e-mail addresses. Think about creating your own e-mail for on the postcard (contact@filmname.com) Important: your film title will be definite from now on!	Upload to Server by midday 12:00
10. Mai	Promo	Poster file deadline The prototype can be found on the server > studierende > Vorlagen > Poster.	Upload to server by 16:00

13. Mai	Promo	Deadline for short text to your project for the HSLU Werkschau exhibition. Information regarding this will be sent by ASI or ASO in the weeks preceding.	E-mail ASO by 11:00
24. Mai	BA project	Fantoche preview version HSLU students are uniquely allowed to send unfinished works-in-progress to be viewed by the Jury. So if you're lucky, your film can then be screened as a premiere at the Fantoche International Animation Festival in September!	Upload to server by 23:59
30. Mai	BA project	Credits check Send screenshots or a .mov (under 100MB!) of your credits for inspection and final OK by Jürgen Haas.	E-mail to Jürgen Haas & ASO by 11:00
3. June	Exam	Examination criteria (presentation) Choose an aspect of your presentation which is to be judged by in particular (for example language skills in english, entertainment factor, graphic design of the presentation, free speaking (without notes), logical structure of presentation, understandability of technical information... ) Any changes in your subject after that must be discussed with Jürgen Haas! 4./5. June	Exam	Mandatory 1-day workshop to enhance your presentation skills!	Day tba by ASO
12. June - 15. June	BA exhibition	Assembly of the BA animation's exhibition space at the HSLU Werkschau. Detailled timetables will be sent to you by ASI.	Timetables tba
13. June	BA project	Deadline for film's "state of production" & engl. Subtitles > this version will be shown at your BA presentation and at the Werkschau Late deilvery will lead to EXCLUSION from this year's BA presentations. No FX possible!	Upload to server by 23:59, folder tba by ASO

14. June	Exam	Deadline for completing Ani-Wiki entry to your film Chantal Molleur will not promote your film without a completed page. After completing your studies you will not have access to the Ani-WIki Login anymore. To make your pages, use the Ani-Wiki pages: > Template for student film > Template for student page	Complete all entries by 23:59
17. June	BA project	Deadline for final version of film (will be shown at the Premiere at the MAXX cinema) > only finished films will be shown at the Premiere > trailers are only valid by direct discussion with Jürgen Haas and under very special circumstances. 5. July	Promo	Deadline for trailers of your film Details to follow from ASO. Pay attention to correct use of HSLU logos > Only films with trailers will be promoted on Animation HSLU's vimeo page! > The trailer will be uploaded to our vimeo site and can be linked to your vimeo account. (make a vimeo account!) > Do not upload your final film immediately to any online platform without consulting Chantal Molleur first. You can upload you entire film after it has done its first round of important festivals (usually about a year) to your platform of choice. > Please create a link to our website as the producer of your film.
