▶ Graphics 3D Beginner : 2nd year Semester 1
Goal: to learn about the 'light' requried for computer graphics, to acquire skills and simple theories necessary for 3D production mainly using MAYA. Class: Practice for producing 3D objects using MAYA Contents: Brief theoretical explanation needed for production will be given. HDRI fabrication practice, basic animation practice using simple figures, light, 3D printing practice, assignments for each course, final project plan, presentation, etc. Assessment: Produce two personal projects during the semester.
▶ Graphics 3D Beginner : 2nd year Semester 2
Goal : to understand basic concetps of 3D computer graphics through production,t o understand 3D pipeline through planning, producing and editing students' works based on 3D computer graphic animation, to learn both technical and aesthetic aspects of computer animation.
Class: Practice using 3D CGs in conjunction with a variety of tools, including Blender and Unity, based on Autodesk MAYA, practice using various motion capture equipment with basic computer animation
▶ Graphics 3D Intermediate : 3rd year Semester 1
mainly focus on "DYNAMICS" and "CAHRACTER RIGGING" target : students who tooke the MAYA beginne'rs course
Goal 1: to understand 3D Graphic Technology and Representation -Based on the tutorial of the world's most famous practitioners on the web, training technical skills through the repeated practices.
Goal 2: Understanding and utilizing fx in the video production pipeline - SOFT-BODY, RIGID-BODY, FLUID, OCEAN,BIFROST,CLOTH, HAIR, MASH, etc
▶ Graphics 3D Intermediate : 3rd year Semester 2
Goal: to understand 3D character animation and 3D Computer Graphic video production using MAYA
to understand the production method, purpose of use and concept of 3D fx and caracter animation used for CF and animation production by focusing on utilization of the video production skills.
- DIGITAL CREATURE, MATCH MOVING and edit /normal mapping and displacement mapping - modeling / mapping & texturing / CREATURE RIGGING /CREATURE ANIMATION, etc
What programs are you using / teaching?
Autodesk MAYA
What is the main focus: modelling, animating (or both?), simulations or vfx (etc.)?
Graphics 3D Beginner : Maya interface / Polygon modeling / Lighting /Animation / VR, AR
Graphice 3D Intermediate : MAYA, DIGITAL CREATURE, MATCH MOVING
modeling / mapping & texturing / CREATURE RIGGING /CREATURE ANIMATION, etc
At what “level” do you need to be to follow the lessons? Are the 3D courses in English?
Graphics 3d Beginner: Understanding basic concepts for 3D computer graphics because it needs to link to various tools based on Autodesk Maya
Graphics 3D Intermediate : Completion of MAYA beginner's course, above of certain level of understanding how to use MAYA
All course are basically conducted in Korean and brief explanation in English can be provided when needed.
What do you expect in a 3D-Portfolio?
Please understand that we cannot provide any information or opinion about the portfolio because it is about students' ability and creativity.
Are there newer showreels from the students there?
