Liina Luomajoki (born in 2002) grew up in the canton of Aargau and after graduating high school with a focus on Art, studied animation at the Lucerne School of Art and Design, which she completed in 2024 with her graduation short film "Cottage Cheese" in a team of four.
She likes to work as a director, scriptwriter, concept artist, 2D animator and background designer. She also likes to knit and crochet and has used this technique to create sets and accessories for her experimental short film "Mustikka Piirakka" (which explored her memories of her fathers hometown Rovaniemi in Finland) and the small project "Call today for half price off" (where she used grass and other natural materials to craft miniature clothing).
