All film with dialog or text plates should be subtitled - independent of the language spoken - in the following languages:

Subtitles should be submitted in the [https://wiki.videolan.org/SubRip/ Subrip Format] (.srt). Every entry in a subtitle file should be on a single line and all languages should have the same spotting and subtitle lines. Avoid lines with more than 60 characters and avoid to start or end a subtitle line with three points: "...". Instead of submitting one file per language you can submit one subtitle file with all languages on separate lines:
Die Töne müssen auf das Bild genau gleich lang sein wie das Video

* Stereo-Tonspur Linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 4.0 LTRT Mix auf -1dBTP ( full scale, true peak ) ausgesteuert im wav Format - nach der [http://tech.ebu.ch/docs/r/r128.pdf EBU-128] Norm

* Surround Tonspur Linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 5.1 auf -1dBFS ( full scale ) ausgesteuert als einzelne Spuren im wav Format

* Bei einer Koproduktion mit dem [http://www.srf.ch/ Schweizer Fernsehen] müssen die Töne als Linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 4.0 LTRT Mix sowie die 5.1 in 25fps nach der [http://tech.ebu.ch/docs/r/r128.pdf EBU-128] Norm abgegeben werden.

== Untertitel ==

Zu Filmen mit Dialog müssen Untertitel - unabhängig der gesprochenen Sprache - in folgenden Sprachen abgegeben werden:

* Deutsch

* Englisch

* Französisch

  1

  00:00:20,000 --> 00:00:24,400

This is a step by step guide how to submit a project (Animation Film, Game, Application, etc.) to the archive.

  1. Read this guide for the details. If you have a film / project format that is not on the following list, ask the Technical Support.
  2. Save all files on our internal server or - in special circumstances - on a portable hard drive
  3. Every file / project has to be submitted with our Namer Form.

All following entries are in order of preference.

Documentation

All details about the author (you) and your films / projects that were created during your education at the school have to be added to this wiki. Use the provided Template for Studentfilm and Template for Studentpage.

Animation Film

Picture

  • Apple Prores 4444 in a Quicktime or MXF OP1a Container
  • Avid DNXHR in a Quicktime or MXF OP1a Container

The film credits for the final project have to be double-checked by the Artistic Associate. Avoid burnt in subtitles or a technical lead (color bars, etc.).

Sound

Important: The sound files have to be in the exact same length as the film

  • stereo sound, linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 4.0 LTRT normalized to the EBU-128 norm as a wav file
  • stereo sound, linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 4.0 LTRT normalized for laptop speakers as a wav file

Additional files needed if you have a co-production with Schweizer Fernsehen:

  • stereo sound, linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 4.0 LTRT normalized to the EBU-128 norm in 25fps as a wav file
  • surround sound, linear PCM, 24bit, 48kHz, 5.1 normalized to the EBU-128 norm in 25fps, as six individual wav files

Subtitles

All film with dialog or text plates should be subtitled - independent of the language spoken - in the following languages:

Subtitles should be submitted in the Subrip Format (.srt).

1
00:00:20,000 --> 00:00:24,400
Was ist mein Zweck?
What is my purpose?
Quel est mon but?

2
