• DE: Im Riedertal wohnte vor langer Zeit eine alte Hexe. Sie hasste die Muttergotteskapelle im Grunde des Tals, wo viel gebetet wurde.

Sie wollte die Kapelle mit allen Kräften zerstören. Einmal sogar hat sie einen gewaltigen Felsblock durch das Tal geschleppt um ihn gegen das Gotteshaus herabzustürzen…

• ENG: Once upon a time an old witch lived in a valley called Riedertal. She hated the local chapel because many people prayed there. She put all her efforts to destroy the chapel. One time she even dragged a huge rock through the valley in order to throw it against the chapel...

• FR: Il était une fois une vieille sorcière qui vivait dans le Riedertal. Elle détestait la chapelle de Sainte Vierge qui se trouvait au fond de la vallée, car on y priait beaucoup. La sorcière essayait de détruire la chapelle avec tous les moyens possibles. Un jour elle a même trainé un énorme rocher en traversant toute la vallée pour le jeter contre l'église...
