Justine Klaiber was born in Switzerland and raised South African style. After a few years of studying Animation in Lucerne she flees the cold Swiss weather to study and work in France for a year. She returns to Switzerland with a love for French animation and cheese, and finishes her studies with the film “The Sound of Crickets”.

2013: 6 months internship at Prima Linea Productions working as:; Clean-Check Supervisor Assistant (Loulou l'incroyable secret); Animation research and development assistant (la fameuse invasion de la sicile par les ours); Research and design of props, animals and characters (Red Turtle)
2012: Exchange semester at EMCA (Ecole des Métiers du Cinéma d’Animation), France
2012: International VGIK Summer School (Animation) in Yaroslavl, Russia
2011: Internship at Brunner & Meyer, Büro für Animation & Illustration, Bern
2010-2014: Bachelor studies in Animation, University of Lucerne
2009-2010: artistic course (Vorkurs) Lucerne
