Out of Home Animation (OoHA)

This summer workshop is all about getting your hands dirty and working experimentally with what you find on site. The workshop takes place in a cabin tucked away somewhere in the mountains of Switzerland. Students bring image- and sound recording equipment, some paper, some tools, and the rest is up to them.

The 2017 workshop took place with 30 students from the Hochschule Luzern – Art & Design, Hochschule Luzern – Music, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Filmuniversität Babelsberg, the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien and the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

The 2018 workshop took place with 21 students from the Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Filmuniversität Babelsberg, the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Piemonte and the Moma Budapest.

The 2021 workshop took place with 14 students from the Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst, the Kunsthochschule Kassel and the Moma Budapest.
