Synopsis / Summary / Résumé
- DE: In einem Schachspiel gegen die Zeit, konfrontiert eine von Reuegefühlen und Verbitterung geplagte Frau zwei jungere Versionen ihrer Selbst. Der Wunsch endlich Kontrolle über ihre Vergangenheit zu erlangen, lässt sie in die Schachzüge der anderen eingreiffen, um sie für Entscheidungen die sie einst trafen zur Verantwortung zu ziehen. Nicht in der Lage sich selbst einzugestehen, dass sie ihr Leben noch ändern könnte, wird sie von ihren Gefühlen übermannt.
- EN: In a chess match against time, a woman, plagued by resentment and regret, confronts two younger versions of herself. The desire to finally gain control over her past leads her to intervene in the others’ moves and hold them accountable for decisions they once made. Unable to realise that she could still change her life, she is overcome by her own feelings of bitterness and guilt.
