Hongik University 's animation department is located in their Sejong campus, in South Korea. The animation department is part of the Design and Media branch of the overall Arts Department. There is an official student dormitory that can host up to 30 students in one floor, but divided by gender. A speciality of this school is that you are allowed to take courses from the entire Arts Department - so not only graphic design and animation courses but also illustration, object design, metal work etc...
A Korean language test is not required to be eligible for admission, however so a basic knowledge of the language is recommended if you want to know what people are talking about.
