Tamara Zumbühl

Tamara Zumbühl (1982) studierte Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft und Deutsche Literatur an der Universität Zürich und absolvierte einen Bachelor in Kunst und Vermittlung und einen Master in Film an der Hochschule Luzern - Design und Kunst. In ihrem künstlerischen Werk arbeitet sie hauptsächlich mit den Medien Film und Fotografie, wobei Materialität und alte Techniken eine grosse Rolle spielen. Ihre filmischen Arbeit bestehen zu einem grossen Teil aus Found Footage-Material, mit dem sie neue Geschichten erzählen kann. Nebst ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit arbeitet sie derzeit ebenfalls an einem practise based PhD, in dem sie sich mit audio-visuellen Mehrkanal-Installationen beschäftigt und der Frage nachgeht, wie in solchen Arbeiten erzählt wird.

Tamara Zumbühl (1982) studied General Linguistics, German Linguistics and German Literature at the University of Zurich and completed a Bachelor's degree in Art and Communication and a Master's degree in Film at the Lucerne School of Art and Design. In her artistic work, she mainly works with the media of film and photography, whereby materiality and old techniques play a major role. Her film work consists largely of found footage material, which she uses to tell new stories. In addition to her artistic work, she is currently also working on a practice-based PhD in which she is investigating audio-visual multi-channel installations and the question of how narratives are told in such works.
