Since September 2022, I have been a lecturer in BA and MA Animation and responsible coordinator for the Master Animation at HSLU.

Before coming to HSLU, I worked at the Animationsinstitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany as a study co-ordinator, head of studies, project supervisor for student projects, and head of internationalizations. As a lecturer, I taught history and theory of animation and animation practice at Filmakademie ,the University of Tübingen and the Hochschule Darmstadt. From 2008 until 2021, I was responsible for the international training programme for animators, producers, and script writers, Animation Sans Frontières, the European Animation Development Lab.

My background is in film- and media studies - including animation studies :) - and literature.

In 2021, I completed my PhD at the University of Tübingen on "Water in Animated Films" (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Susanne Marschall, published in Schüren Verlag).
