Fabian Biasio

I was born in Zurich in 1975. As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a captain of a jumbo jet. But when I was twelve, I received my first camera as a gift - a "Click-o-mat instant load" and instantly fell in love with photography.

In 1999, I enrolled in the press photography program at MAZ, the Swiss School of Journalism. Since 2001 I have been working as a freelance photographer. The main focus of my freelance work is reportage, portraits and documentaries. 2012 I started to work also in multimedia and film. In 2020, I was accepted into the Master Film program as part of the "sur dossier process" at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts D/K.
