- DE: Ein Statement an unsere wundervoll-gierige Welt. Inspiriert von einer Anekdote aus dem boomenden Tokio der 80er Jahre erzählt der Film die glamouröse Geschichte vom skrupellosen Immobilienhai Akio Kashiwagi. Seine Leidenschaft ist das verbotene Gambling in der Unterwelt. Ein Amerikaner ist ihm auf der Spur, doch Akios grösster Feind ist seine eigene unstillbare Gier.

His passion is illegal gambling in the underworld. An American is on his trail, but Akio's greatest enemy is his own insatiable greed.
