Hongik University 's animation department is located in their Sejong campus, in South Korea. Animation - together with Graphic Design and Illustration - is part of the Hongik Visual Communication Design department. There is an official student dormitory that can host up to 30 students in one floor, but divided by gender. A speciality of this school is that you are allowed to take courses from the entire Arts Department - so not only graphic design and animation courses but also illustration, object design, metal work etc...
A Korean language test is not required to be eligible for admission, however so a basic knowledge of the language is recommended if you want to know what people are talking about.
