Lukas was born 1995 in Germany. After graduating high school, he worked as a scenic painter for theater and film, freelancing in illustration on the side for several years. Intrigued by animated films, he moved to Switzerland in 2019 not only to study animation at the Lucerne School of Art and Design but also to climb every single mountain visible from the school's rooftop. Trying to balance health and animation, he compiled his thesis into a practical guide to maintain health while working in animation: The Animator's Paradox.
Graduating uninjured and with the mixed media short film REMOVE HIND LEGS BEFORE CONSUMPTION he continuous to work as a freelancer specializing in storyboarding.
